After completing a number of years at Grant Thornton, Bill
joined Seymour Taylor in 1982 and now specialises in general
audits, providing a high level of advice and support to SMEs.
Bill had been our Managing Partner / Director for 10 years up
until September 2010.Amongst other duties, including advising
several substantial entrepreneurs, Bill is our Charity and
Education sector specialist and works with a number of local and
national ecclesiastical organisations. He advises educational
establishments, schools and colleges and as a trustee of several
charitable organisations, Bill looks to work with dynamic medium
sized charities which plan to expand nationally.
He also performs several roles in The Hampden Group, of which
Seymour Taylor is a part, including directorships in several
other group companies, some of which are based overseas. He has
recently also been appointed as Group Financial Accountant.
Outside of work, Bill is very involved with his wife and
family of four grown up children and granddaughter, the Baptist
Church, both locally and nationally and chairs a medical
charity. His other interests include motoring, baroque music,
and taking holidays, as well as his trustee interests.
