This may not be as bad as it sounds. HM Revenue and Customs
conduct a lot of investigations (as they have to), and a fair
proportion of them are selected completely at random.
This effectively means that if you are currently being investigated by
HM Revenue and Customs, it doesn't necessarily mean that you've
done anything wrong!
In any event, an enquiry from a government department needs
to be handled as quickly and efficiently as possible - and this
is where we come in.
