Neil Major and Gary Francis attended the launch of the Bucks New University Apprentice Challenge on Monday 2 November 2009. There are 15 teams participating this year each comprising 6 students. We are sponsoring one of the teams, “Dynamo”, who have high hopes of victory - as do the other 14 teams, presumably.

Marketing and business strategy are vital skills for students to master and these aspects are often not fully covered during their time at University.

The Challenge will be in 3 stages and will certainly fully test the participants. No Nick or Margaret though, sadly.

We're sure that "Dynamo" will generate plenty of interest.

Bucks New University Training Initiative

Neil Major attended Buckingham House Desborough Road on Tuesday 3rd November and gave a talk to a group of budding entrepreneurs about starting their own businesses as part of a Bucks New University training initiative.

There is a lot to consider and much planning that needs to be done when embarking on a new business venture and at Seymour Taylor we are well placed to help and advise those taking this leap into the business world.
