Seymour Taylor speak at inaugural Adams Park SeminarAs
a long standing member of Adams Park Business Club, Simon
Turner, Managing Director of Seymour Taylor was very pleased to
be given the opportunity to present at the first Business
Breakfast of the season, formerly known as London Wasps Business
Breakfast.
 |
To start things off Wycombe
Wanderers Manager, Gary Waddock, was interviewed
about his varied experience as both a footballer and
now a manager.
Having recently agreed a new 3
year deal with WWFC, Gary is set to stay at Adams
Park until 2014. |
With his previous expertise
in the football academies and mentoring young players, Gary
was very excited about Jordan Ibe joining the team, having
recently scored a wonder goal on his full league debut
against Sheffield Wednesday.
Gary went on to praise the
Business Club in holding these types of events as he felt
they are beneficial to local businesses. Speaking with
like-minded professionals and supporting local business is
also now a big part of his contribution to the Club.

Simon Turner, who has been known to play the odd game of golf
but is a huge rugby fan and until recently, played for Chinnor,
continued the morning event with the analogy and many
similarities between business planning and sport management.
Getting the audience involved, Simon was keen to find out who
of the 45 delegates had a clear business plan that has been
reviewed in the last few months. He stressed that having the
right model, effective management, strong staff and excellent
communication is critical in putting any plan in place.
Adams Park Commercial Executive expressed thanks to Simon “A
massive thank you for presenting at the breakfast meeting, it
was well received by all! We really felt that the morning went
well, an improvement on last season and lots of new faces in the
mix.”
Simon mentioned: “These networking events take place five to
six times a year and we have found they are a great opportunity
to enhance business links with local companies.”
