Business: Auto Enrolment

As an employer, you will probably have received a letter from The Pensions Regulator (TPR) telling you your Staging Date, and asking you to appoint a Primary Contact. This is the beginning of a range of Employer's Duties that you will have to fulfil to remain compliant with the regulations, which include:

Setting up:

  • Knowing your Staging Date
  • Informing your workforce
  • Plan the implementation (allow 6 to 9 months for this)
  • Select and implement a Qualifying Workplace Pension Scheme
  • Decide whether postponement is appropriate
  • Decide on the pension contributions level
  • Complete the TPR Declaration of Compliance

Then, at every payroll run:

  • Assess the workforce, and categorise the workers
  • Auto-enrol eligible workers, process Opt-outs, Opt-ins, etc
  • Send out commuications to employees - up to 9 different ones - and retain proof that they were sent
  • Pay the contributions to the Pension provider(s)

Our Payroll Service can take away the administrative burden of Auto-Enrolment. With the exception of choosing your Pension scheme, we can help ensure your compliance with most of the above, to whatever degree you would like.

The charges for our Auto-Enrolment Compliance Administration service will depend on a number of variables, such as the number of workers and pension company chosen.

As an indicator, our charges start from £250.00 + VAT for setup, then £23.75 + VAT per month for ongoing administration. Each employer will have different requirements, so please request an initial meeting so that an individual quote can be provided.
